Featured in this James Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The car used by Lazenby Aston Martin DBS was seen in only four scenes, including the pre-credits teaser and as James & Tracy's wedding car. Nothing is known about what kind of gadgets were installed, except that it had a hiding place for a sniper rifle in the glovebox. In This movie, James Bond do not have a specially equipped car provided by MI6 for him in his Moonraker mission. Nevertheless, Roger Moore who stared as the famous 007 spy James Bond did drove several cars.
1981 : For Your Eyes Only
(James Bond Star : Roger Moore)
Lotus Esprit Turbo
1983 : Octopussy
(James Bond Star : Roger Moore)
In this James Bond movie still like there are no special mission vehicle provided by MI6 for James Bond to execute his mission. unlike other Bond Looks like most of Roger Moore James Bond movie there are no MI6 mission cars designed. But during one of his mission James Bond drove a Range Rover used to tow a horse box that contains a special mission light aircraft Acrostar Jet.
1985 : A View To Kill
(James Bond star : Roger Moore)
In this movie A View To Kill..Still no special mission car provided..but Bond did drive a Fort LTD to trail Stacy to Oakland.
And this is also Roger Moore final James Bond Movie. Looks like during Roger Moore's character as the famous MI6 spy James Bond, there are not many mission cars provided to execute his dangerous spy missions..
1987 : The Living Daylight
( James Bond Star : Timothy Dalton)
The Living Days Lights, the new Bond Character was introduce to the world with Timothy Dalton took over the helm from Roger Moore after 7 Bond Franchise movie.
In This movie James Bond was provided a special mission car the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, equipped with Missile and laser gun. watch the youtube clip on the weapon used in This Bond movie.
Featured Car Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante featured in the movie The Living Daylights. Was a convertible later "winterised" with a hardtop. Came with all the usual refinements including side skis, spiked tires, missiles, lasers, rocket propulsion and could self-destruct when armed.
1989 License To Kill
(James Bond star : Timothy Dalton)
Looks like this movie also show no special purpose car design for James Bond mission. There are several cars being used by James Bond during this movie to allow him to complete his mission. Lincoln Mark VII and the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.
Oh...and the Tanker truck, use for a special stunt...Lets watch how the stunt takes place during a chase..
1995 : Golden Eye
(James Bond Star : Pierce Brosnan)
This is was Pierce Brosnan first bond movie..this was the era where all James Bond movie looks classy as well as load with 21st century Technology..
In This movie Pierce Brosnan was introduce to BMW Z3, This was the first for BMW car to have a staring role in James Bond movie franchise, while the Aston Martin DB5 has the Co-Staring Role.
Here is a short scene where Aston Martin DB5 drove by James Bond soon down hill racing between Aston Martin and a Ferrari took place. Who won the race...let watch the short snippet below
This s also the first time Q uses one of the James Bond title to warn Pierce Brosnan about his privileges
as MI6 Agent..
1997 : Tomorrow Never Dies
(James Bond Star : Pierce Brosnan)
The BMW 750i used in this movie has all the usual weapon fittings except one additional feature a remote control to from an Ericsson cell phone
Sadly to say that the BMW 750i live was short live during a chase inside a carpark, Bond exits the car and remotely drives it to the rooftop, sending it flying off the carpark before crash-landing into an Avis station across the street.
in this movie there is another role stared by BMW. during a chase at the Ho Chi Minh city by a RangeRove James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) and Wai Lin as secrete service from the Chinese Government stole a motorbike guess what? yes it a BMW R1200 Motorcycle.
1999 The World is no enough
(James Bond star : Pierce Brosnan)
Featured in The World Is Not Enough. Equipped with "all the usual refinements" including ground to air missiles and a key chain that can control the car remotely. The car is sawn in half by a brush-cutter-equipped helicopter late in the film. So far in the film series, this marks the only occasion when Bond has expressed concern about Q being upset with James wreaking havoc on cars and equipment. Ironically, this takes place after Desmond Llewelyn makes his final appearance on the screen as Q.
This was a scene where the Bond mission car BMW Z8 was short live by being cut into half..now bond has 2 BMW Z8 to worry about..
2002 Die Another Day
(James Bond Star : Pierce Brosnan)
In this fourth and final Bond movie franchise stared by Pierce Brosnan, where there is last there is also the first in Bond movie, this was the first time where the Bond refined mission car was not introduced by Q stared by Desmond Llewelyn, after he was introduce in "The World Is Not Enough" Q successor and assistant R.
In this movie also MI6 has a new training simulation technology, where bond is wearing a specially design eye ware, when the movie starts I thought at first MI6 HQ was being attacked, and that the mission was to seek revenge on the attacked...then suddenly out of the blue R emerges from the wall and removed the eye ware from Bond.
Well this was the final Bond movie stared by Pierce Brosnan.. Below are the snippet of the Bond movie staring role by Pierce Brosnan.
Well Thats about it...all the Bond Movie with cars from 1962 (Sean Connery) to 2002 (Pierce Brosnan). Hope you all enjoy this post. My next would be the last 3 Bond Movie staring role by Daniel Craig.
