2012 Best Hi-Tech All Terrain Transportation for ......

1. Graco Trekko

The new and exciting Trekko is a three-wheeled "activity stroller" loaded with features to make your outings a pleasant experience.

Picture not having to worry about punctured tires and carrying around an air pump; Trekko's large wheels take you over all sorts of terrain. You get a large drop-down storage basket and the seat reclines fully so that you can attach your Graco SnugRide car seat as a travel system.

The sleek-looking Trekko is sturdy and strong. It holds up to 50 pounds, yet has a one-handed fold for your convenience. The 5-point safety harness converts to a 3-point lap belt when your child is older for more freedom of movement. The sun canopy rotates 180° to shade your child from any angle. This stroller's got it all for all your outdoor activities.

2. Jeep Liberty

he Jeep Liberty Limited 3 wheel stroller has been around for years now and it is just as popular as it always has been; it worked well for me for four years of continuous use! Its extra storage for parents keep keys, cell phone and smaller types of baby gear in one place. A generous storage basket holds all your bulky items.

Some models come with an I-Drive entertainment toy with a horn, car sounds and music for baby. Connect your iPod or other MP3 player to the sound system, a very popular standard feature. The rugged 12" size tires grip all types of terrain and the front wheel locks for greater stability and performance on uneven surfaces. This Jeep stroller has a multi-position reclining seat.

Many owners give it 5 stars, however it does average out to a 4-star rating. You will be pleased to know that Consumer Reports has rated the Liberty Limited as a Best Buy with very high marks. 3. Joovy Zoom

If you're looking for a super all-terrain or jogger, a Joovy Zoom is an excellent stroller to consider; it is the only three-wheeler in the line of Joovy strollers. The Zoom is available in two models: the ATS and the 360 (pictured). Both models have the same main features, however, the Zoom ATS has a 16-inch fixed front wheel for long distance runs, while the Zoom 360 has a smaller, 12-inch swivel front wheel with a locking option for jogging.

The Joovy Zoom 360 is designed to provide smooth rides on uneven terrains, such as grass, bumpy walkways and even on sandy beaches because of the excellent rear-wheel suspension system. This Joovy all terrain stroller is made of aircraft grade aluminum and the fabrics are made of extremely durable 600D polyester material. Customers really appreciate this stroller's durability.

When I think of Schwinn, I think of bicycles! But this company also makes fantastic sport strollers and the Free Wheeler is a solidly built all terrain stroller that has proven itself for years.
The lightweight aluminum frame can hold your child up to 50 pounds and is strong for your outdoor adventures. Your child sits in comfort with a padded, removable liner foreasy cleaning.Here's a bonus: Your little passenger gets a snack tray!
