Amazing Vacation...

Hi Readers,

This year is my daughter's best holiday ever. my wife and I thought it was good if we change our holiday plan, which was at first our shopping trip to KL will only be the two of us. Since our eldest princess is 4 year old I thought it will be a good idea if we tag her along and let her enjoy her school holiday, since she has already completed all her holiday homework in advance.

Since this is her first holiday vacation...you should have seen her excitement...I wonder if this happens to all kids with first time vacation experience. Anyway it was a tiring holiday...all the can you carry me please...daddy I am so tired... can we go back now...mummy I want KFC...and many more....carrying her was the most tiring one... but she had the best shopping experience ever..55% of the items we purchased are all hers...well the remaining 45% is considered as others...

You haven't seen during flight hour...as soon as we fly...about 20 minutes later she fell asleep but woke up just about 1 hour later..and on our return trip to KK (Short for Kota Kinabalu) before boarding Kendra fell asleep this this time she fell asleep until we are about the land at KKIA (KK international Airport).

Here are some the the photos taken during her 2nd experience in the Airport...

Kendra is dancing at her little Aunty's party...

We went to my younger cousin's birthday, it was last year and I think it was my counsin's 8th birthday.  They celebrated at one of her uncle's philipine restaurant located at Lintas Plaza Commercial Center.

In the restaurant there is a small stage enough for a band to sing and small children to dance, at least during my cousin's birthday...

Lets have a look on the kid's, how they enjoy the party...and the adults are the audience of the night.

Click here to watch the kids dancing..

The video I have uploaded in my Fb...so I just link the video..

Story about Kendra Wanted to go to the playground....But Daddy says No...

Dear Readers,

I have been on paternity leave since 6th October 2011 after we welcome our 2nd daughter Klarissa Elisha Foo into our family. All of us are so excited about the new edition in the family, we stayed at my parents house for a few days before decided to return to our home.

But this post is about our eldest 3 year old daughter Kendra, she had a red eye disease (Conjunctivitis). we believed she got it from her cousin, my sister's daughter. It is difficult for us to control Kendra from getting  too closed to her new sister Klarissa. She always wanted to kiss her but due to her condition we refrain her from doing so, at one point when I am so angry with her I had to scold her, though her intention is good but her condition worries us fear might spread to Klarissa too, as I posted last week that when I scolded my daughter she told me that we loved Klarissa more than we love her now (click here to read related post).

So Today she wanted to go to the playground, she loved to play the swing so she asked for our permission if she can go. this is her actual words"...mummy...can I go to the playground? I want to play to swing O mummy.." then my wife told me of Kendra's intention, so I told her you cannot go, your eye is still red. The she quickly ran to one of the dining chair and cover her face telling me "....I dont like you daddy...I want to play swing..."

I tried to ignore her, but looking at her, I decided to explain to her why she can't go to the playground.. at first she ignore me and saying "..I don't want you daddy, because you do let me go to playground..."  So I make another attempt to explain to her why I say no playground and no swing. So I said to her "...Kendra please let me see your eyes first if your can go to the playground?" she continues ignore me, again I told her ok let me see your eye again I will let you go to play the swing if I checked your eyes is better already. She finally raised he head and listen so I told her let me see your eye... so I checked pretend to check carefully about her eyes. the I told her your one eye looks ok, which is not red actually, but I am worry about this eye the one eye (right eye) that actually red since last Sunday. Then she say "...this eye is red kah daddy, I go see at the mirror first." I told her ok you can go an checked first, she ran to the room an checked for her self.

About 10minutes later, she ran back to me and told me, ".........you see daddy my eye better already, my eye ok already....yeah....yeah..." but you know what she did she covered her right eye and point to the left eye telling me her eye already got better. she ran to her mummy and told the same thing...but my wife ask her "wow eye got better already?...what happen to this eye?" she then laugh and say but this eye still red only this one (right eye) ok already...all of us laugh she ran to me and said...daddy...daddy. I respond "..Yes." and she said "...you and mummy so funny oh..." very funny daddy, mummy and me ken-ken (nick name for Kendra)..

Then I look at her, and told my wife...Kendra always knows how to make us laugh...as we look at her running to her room laughing..LoL

My 3 year old daughter says...Daddy liked her new sister klarissa and don't like Kendra (indirectly she says I am showing favoritism)..

Dear Readers...

4 days ago, to be exact it was on the 5th October 2011. we welcome our 2nd lovely daughter at 0240pm local time (hehehe...) and we named her Klarissa Elisha Foo she weighted about 3.65Kg.

So after 3 days 2 nights stay at the Sabah Medical Center (SMC), the doctor who attended and make everything went well Before---> During ----> After delivery is Dr. Krishen. He is a good and great doctor.
Anyway back to to topic of today's subject..

Kendra is so excited and welcome her younger sister with an open heart. after we gave her a present and told her that baby sister Klarissa bought a present for her eldest sister just now.. Kendra was so excited and happy about her new present... actually we bought her a baby doll. Until yesterday she loved her Sister Klarissa, always willing to help us to get the dypers, kissed her, wanted to sleep beside her and cuddle her. so  any parents wanted to try this, go ahead it is a good idea to avoid jealousy toward the other sibling when a new baby arrived. this is just one of the way and I am sure there are other ways to avoid jealousy among the younger sibling.

So Last night, I scolded my daughter, some even mildly punish her, I punish and scolded here just because she was so excited to be with her sister and that is ok for me but jumping beside her sister was a little bit too excited. At first I told her nicely and my message was ignored, 2nd..3rd...4th....5th.... times and losing my patience, so I started to increase my tone...show her the can (we called it Rotan), and yes I did slightly canned her at her shoulder side, she was crying hard...while at the same time I scolded her..later I left her with her mother while I went to prepare for her formula (milk).

As soon as I went in to the room my wife told me "....your daughter told me that daddy like mei-mei klarissa (sister Klarissa)...daddy dont like me..." I was so shock a 3 year old have in their back of their mind that daddy is showing favoritism... To avoid a matter turns worse.. I explain to her that daddy loved both mei-mei Klarissa and Kendra. but if mei-mei Klarissa naughty and dont want to listed daddy also punish mei-mei, and explain to her daddy don't want Kendra to get hurt or accidentally hurt mei-mei. took me about 15-20minutes maybe to explain then she finally talk to me...phew...a closed call...if I ignore the signal what would a 3 year old do to a little baby just because of jealousy.....

Now a days, I think it is important that we explain to our little kids tell them explain to them why we scold them, where they have done wrong. especially when there is a new member in the family..

I will post my 2 daughter photos soon... Thank you for you time taken to read my post...

Sunday..

Today, woke up a little early. since my wife wanted to have fried noodle (Bee Hun A.K.A Rice Vermicelli) for breakfast. but we did not buy any yesterday so I need to get it from the nearest supermarket.

Most of the supermarket here in Sabah opened for business earliest 0830am, and the one that we are going opens at 0930am. we had to wait for another 25minutes. so I decided to sit in a coffee shop (Kopi Tiam) for a nice cold ice Milo with my lovely wife and have a short chat with her.

Later we visit another store well actually is it a stockist for Cosway. we were planning on making our own hamper for the up coming celebration gifts especially for our families (i.e. Christmas, Birthday etc)

Then its 0930am, and the supermarket is now opened for business. our original intention was to buy 1 item only. in the end we bought Rice Vermicelli, Vitagen (for Kendra), Sausages, some veggies, Nuttella- Cocoa Spread, due to unplanned grocery purchasing, we end up paying RM57.70 when our original purchase for the Rice Vermicelli only cost us around Rm3.00++, a differences of RM44.00++ over budget.

Home..
I started preparing the ingredients for the Fried Bee Hun (Rice Vermicelli). cut the meat into smaller pieces, some sausages, preparing the scramble egg, some carrots, slices of garlic. preparing the Bee Hun. after 5-10minutes of engineering to final product of fried bee hun. The fried bee hun is reading for serving.

Yeah...I know the presentation does not look so appetizing... well I just a home chef need to polish up my presentation skills...

Anyway the tasted was just nice I normally take my fried bee hun with tea..

Finally after having our breakfast..my wife and daughter continue watching their TV program while chit-chatting, while me updating my blog..

Later we plan to visit my parents, and I might visit Tg Aru Beach some 10minute drive from my parent home. hopefully I can get a nice shots for my photo collection.
